PROFESSIONAL PHOTOGRAPHY

I've been a photographer since I was 12 years old, turning professional when I was only 19.

My love for photography runs deep and I freelanced in my own full-time business for over 10 years before
combining my craft with graphic design, film and animation.

Now, my photography feeds much of my other work and is useful in
content creation, marketing, web design and brand strategy.

Nothing showcases a product and its packaging better than a good image. Who creates these? The product photographer of course. Product Photography is not as easy as it looks. It requires careful thought and consideration of light, shape, colours, form and function.

Yet it is important that a product is showcased well. To create professional looking images of a product is to step inside the mind of both the product creator and the consumer who may look to purchase the product.

We live in a world bombarded by online content, social media and advertising. And within that realm lies the art of photography for digital marketing, information sharing and content creation. The art of seeing, conceptualising and creating images for the intent of advertising, digital marketing and social media is one that has been around for a long time. However, we are consuming more of this work on a daily basis than ever before, as the online presence has grown and the world creates more and more consumable data. Having a professional image presence during such modern times is essential to building brand awareness and enhancing business growth.

Humans have learned and developed an incredible ability to innovate and build. Up, down, out, in, the buildings and structures that surround us every day contain fantastic shape and form. Often these features go unnoticed until a photographer with a good eye for form and structure comes along and captures these unique views on the world. Architectural photography isn't just about photographing a building, its about showcasing its awesome features and celebrating the detail.

For many years I've learned the art of fine art and illustrative photography. Whether this be for advertising, marketing, competitions, personal projects or as part of work for a client.

These pieces are typically 100% photographic and all my own work - made up of hundreds of layers of elements, adjustments and corrections.
